Barun Hydropower Company Limited has completed the allotment of its rights shares. The company had issued 1:1 rights shares (one rights share for each share held) worth Rs. 100 per share from Ashad 31 to Bhadra 3, targeting shareholders registered with NEPSE until Jestha 21.

Out of the total 5,358,150 rights shares issued, 28,755 eligible shareholders applied properly and were allotted 5,119,707 shares, according to issue manager RBB Merchant Banking Limited. However, 238,443 shares remained unsubscribed and will be sold later through a public auction.

The company has also stated that the refund amount for applicants who applied for more shares than their entitlement but did not get allotment will be deposited to their bank accounts via IPS starting from Bhadra 18.
