The lock-in period for Sikles Hydro Limited’s shares ends today. A total of 7.38 million shares will now be free from restrictions.

Details of the shares

The lock-in period applies to:

  • 6.5 million founder shares
  • 850,000 shares issued for local residents
  • 34,500 shares allocated to employees

These shares were part of the company’s IPO, issued in 2079 (2022) for local residents and the general public, including employees. The IPO was distributed on 11 Ashoj 2079.

The Securities Board required founder, local resident, and employee shares to be locked for a set period. During this time, these shares could not be sold. The rule ensures market stability and protects investors.

Company executives and senior management still cannot buy or sell their shares, as their lock-in continues.
