The official email of the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON) has been offline for the past five days.
The board said the email system suddenly stopped working, making it impossible to send or receive official messages. According to SEBON, the problem happened because the email ID was hacked. This has disrupted the board’s main communication channel.

The situation has raised concerns about data security and the possible leak of sensitive information. However, SEBON has not shared details about how serious the breach is or what data might have been exposed.
Officials said they are working to restore the system, but there is no clear timeline for when the email service will be back online.
