The government has decided to blacklist 12 construction companies. The decision was made by the Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Bhadra 23.

These companies failed to complete their projects within the agreed time. As a result, they will not be allowed to take part in any public procurement process for a certain period.

The ban will last from one to three years, depending on the case. It will take effect from today.

The decision was made after different government bodies recommended action against these companies for their poor performance.
