Nepal Bank Limited has welcomed a new face to its board. Mahesh Bhattarai has been appointed as a director of the bank, representing the Ministry of Finance. Bhattarai currently serves as a joint secretary at the ministry.
New leadership at the board
He replaces Than Prasad Panjiyani in the director’s position. Bhattarai officially took his oath of office and confidentiality on Ashoj 22 in the presence of the board chairperson.
His appointment is expected to strengthen the coordination between Nepal Bank and the Ministry of Finance, helping in smoother financial policy alignment and decision-making in the banking sector.
