The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted four construction companies for failing to perform their duties satisfactorily. As a result, these companies will be banned from participating in government tenders for the next one year.
The decision follows recommendations made by different government offices after repeated complaints regarding delayed or unsatisfactory work.
Blacklisted Companies and Their Key Individuals:
- Green Leaf Pvt. Ltd. – Kathmandu
- Shivam Construction – Dhanusha
- D.G. Eagle Construction – Kathmandu
- Thomas Construction & Suppliers – Sunsari
Recommendations Behind the Action:
- Green Leaf Pvt. Ltd. was blacklisted based on a request by the B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Sunsari.
- Shivam Construction was listed after a suggestion from the Gausala Municipality Office, Mahottari.
- D.G. Eagle Construction was blacklisted following a recommendation by the Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office, Rautahat.
- Thomas Construction & Suppliers was added to the blacklist as per the Urban Development and Building Office, Biratnagar.
The blacklisted firms are prohibited from participating in any public procurement processes during the blacklisting period.
This move aims to improve accountability and ensure higher standards in public infrastructure projects across the country.
