Nepal Oil Corporation has raised fuel prices effective from midnight, Ashar 17. Petrol has increased by Rs. 5 per liter, reaching Rs. 165. Diesel and kerosene prices have gone up by Rs. 4, now costing Rs. 149 per liter. The hike follows updated rates received from Indian Oil Corporation. International aviation fuel has also seen a significant price rise of USD 51 per kiloliter.
New fuel prices
- Petrol: Increased by Rs. 5 per liter, now costs Rs. 165 per liter
- Diesel and Kerosene: Increased by Rs. 4 per liter, now costs Rs. 149 per liter
This new pricing is based on the latest import rates sent by Indian Oil Corporation, according to NOC.

Why this happened?
