Shark Tank Nepal Season 1 continued to showcase the entrepreneurial spirit of Nepali innovators in Episode 16. This week’s episode featured a mix of tech-driven platforms, handmade products, specialty cafés, and innovative food and beverage startups. Entrepreneurs pitched their ideas to secure funding from the sharks, aiming to take their businesses to the next level.

Hyperce, co-founded by CEO Biplab Karki and COO Gulam Miya, offers customizable e-commerce suite solutions designed to transform the online retail landscape for businesses of all sizes. The company’s AI-driven platform promises modern, innovative tools to streamline e-commerce operations. Hyperce requested NPR 80 lakh for 20% equity. Shark Hemraj saw the potential and agreed to invest NPR 80 lakh in exchange for 30%, marking a successful deal in the tech sector.

Saloni Raj Bhandari introduced Lali, a brand focused on handmade skincare products crafted with care and natural ingredients. The company sought NPR 1 crore for 14% equity. Shark Cabinet recognized the value of the brand and its growth potential, offering NPR 1.5 crore in exchange for 50% equity. This marked another exciting deal, highlighting the growing demand for wellness and natural products in Nepal.

Caffeophilia Cafe PVT LTD – Specialty Coffee Experience, Shashank Prabhat Shrestha and Kumud Singh pitched their specialty coffee bar, Caffeophilia Cafe, requesting NPR 5 crore for 20% equity. Despite a compelling presentation and a unique concept, the entrepreneurs could not secure a deal from the sharks this episode.

Amit Chetri presented Bhamisa Food and Beverages, a company focusing on innovative food and beverage products. The company requested NPR 1 crore for 15% equity. Unfortunately, this pitch also did not result in a deal.

Episode 16 of Shark Tank Nepal highlighted a diverse range of startups, from tech platforms to handmade and specialty products. While some entrepreneurs successfully secured investments, others left without deals, showing the challenges and competitiveness of the entrepreneurial journey in Nepal.
