Mani Shankhar Shah, the founder of Manishankhar Pauroti Udhyog, came to Shark Tank Nepal with his bakery business. His bakery sells fresh and affordable bread and has been growing steadily for years.

He shared his sales numbers that caught the Sharks’ attention:

YearSales
2021NPR 17 lakhs
2022NPR 22 lakhs
2023NPR 29 lakhs
2024NPR 30 lakhs
2025NPR 45 lakhs

These figures clearly showed a stable and growing business, ready for expansion.

The pitch starts with a simple ask

At first, Mani asked for NPR 12 lakhs for only 10% of his company. This meant he valued his business at NPR 1.2 crore. But things soon got interesting.

The offer game gets interesting

Mani then changed his ask to NPR 12 lakhs for 25% of the company, a big jump! The Sharks quickly jumped in with their own offers.

Two Sharks, Hem Raj and Anand, made a bold offer: NPR 60 lakhs for 50% equity. The valuation stayed at NPR 1.2 crore, but the amount of ownership they wanted was high. Mani was given some time to think about it.

Then, Mani came back with a counteroffer: NPR 25 lakhs for 25% equity. This lowered the company value to NPR 1 crore.

A deal is finally made

Just when it seemed the negotiations might stall, Shark Saurabh made a surprising offer: NPR 15 lakhs for 25% equity. This valued the company at NPR 60 lakhs , lower than Mani’s first ask, but a fair and practical offer.

A smart move for future growth

After thinking carefully, Mani accepted Saurabh’s offer. This deal gave him the money and support he needed to grow his bakery further.

The deal ended at NPR 15 lakhs for 25% equity , a deal full of lessons about patience, smart choices, and real business value.
