The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has told all digital wallet companies to quickly stop any suspicious transactions. They must freeze these transactions within 24 hours of finding them.

This order comes to help fight illegal activities and follow rules from the United Nations and the Nepali government. Digital wallet companies must also check their users against these official sanction lists.

NRB wants all companies to fully follow these rules to keep the financial system safe and stop money from being used for bad reasons. This move shows NRB’s focus on protecting customers and the country’s financial health.
