Provincial Budget Nepal 2082/83- All seven provincial governments of Nepal are set to present their annual budgets today, Asar 1, for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83, in accordance with the constitutional requirement. The central government already announced its budget on Jestha 15, while local governments will unveil their budgets on Asar 10.

Here’s What to Expect from Provincial Budgets of Each Province:

  • Koshi Province: Preparing a budget of Rs. 35 to 40 billion.
  • Madhesh Province: Planning to bring a Rs. 45 billion budget.
  • Bagmati Province: Will announce a Rs. 68 billion budget during its 3 PM assembly meeting.
  • Gandaki Province: Expected to bring a Rs. 32 billion budget.
  • Lumbini Province: Budget will be slightly smaller than the current year’s Rs. 39 billion.
  • Karnali Province: Budget plan is around Rs. 31 billion.
  • Sudurpaschim Province: Likely to retain this year’s level with Rs. 31 billion.

These provincial budgets are key to driving economic activities and public services across various sectors including health, education, infrastructure, and employment.
