A sudden fire broke out at Kalpana Traders and Suppliers on Tikapur Road in Lamkichuha Municipality–1. The fire destroyed the warehouse, which stored shoes and slippers, causing losses of over 70 lakh rupees, according to police.
The fire started early in the morning at around 2:40 am. Firefighters from Lamkichuha Municipality, along with police and local residents, quickly worked to control the blaze, said Lokendra Bahadur Singh, chief of Lamki police station.
The warehouse, run by Kalpana Jaishi, was completely destroyed by the fire. Fortunately, no one was inside at the time, and there were no injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire since the warehouse was empty when the incident happened.
