Banana price have fallen in the local market. Data from the Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee shows that the price dropped on Sunday.
In the Kalimati market, the wholesale price of bananas today is between Rs 125 and Rs 135 per dozen. This is Rs 10 cheaper compared to Saturday.
On Saturday, bananas were sold at a wholesale price of Rs 130 to Rs 140 per dozen.
A week ago, the price was even higher, ranging from Rs 130 to Rs 145 per dozen.
