Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today, Wednesday. According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar has reached its highest point ever. The buying rate of one US dollar is set at NPR 143.50, while the selling rate is NPR 144.10.
The bank has also updated the rates for other major currencies. One Australian dollar is priced at NPR 93.96 for buying and NPR 94.36 for selling. Similarly, one Canadian dollar can be bought for NPR 102.42 and sold for NPR 102.85.
The buying rate for one European euro is NPR 166.57, and the selling rate is NPR 167.27. For the UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 189.43 and the selling rate is NPR 190.22.
Nepal Rastra Bank has said that these rates can be changed anytime if needed. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updates will always be available on the central bank’s official website.
