Yeti Airlines Limited is preparing to enter the share market. The airline has announced plans to issue an initial public offering (IPO) as part of its long-term strategy.
According to the company, it will move forward only after the proposal is discussed in its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). Shareholders will decide whether to approve or remove the IPO plan.
The third AGM is scheduled for Ashoj 31, 2082 (October 17) at 3:00 PM. It will take place at the company’s registered office in Tilganga, Kathmandu.
During the meeting, the management will present plans for financial restructuring and seek approval for changes needed to move toward a premium IPO. The aim is to raise fresh capital, improve financial stability, and allow the general public to invest in one of Nepal’s major domestic airlines.
If the AGM approves the agenda, Yeti Airlines will begin the process of releasing shares to the public. If not, the plan will be dropped. For now, the final decision rests with the shareholders.
