Smart Choice Technologies, SCT UnionPay technologies has introduced a new feature that lets users load mobile wallets like esewa, khalti, and hamro pay directly from their sct–unionpay card. There are no extra steps, making the process faster and easier.
In the past, sct–unionpay cards were mainly used for payments in shops or for some online purchases. With this update, cardholders can now top up any wallet that supports card loading. This makes cashless payments more convenient.
The service works with all wallets connected to nabil bank’s electronic payment gateway. This includes not only popular wallets like esewa and khalti but also many merchant apps and payment platforms across nepal.
With this change, sct–unionpay cards can now be used for more than in-store payments. Users can pay for online shopping, buy airline tickets, and even make wallet-to-wallet payments using the same card.
Who Can Get SCT UnionPay Card?
Sct issues its unionpay cards through 23 banks, several financial institutions, and more than 100 cooperatives across the country. If your bank is part of this network, you may already be able to get the card.
This upgrade is expected to make digital payments in nepal more accessible and flexible.
