Samling Power Company Limited has posted a net profit of Rs. 88.02 lakh in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. This marks a significant recovery compared to a net loss of Rs. 2.76 crore at the end of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s revenue from electricity sales dropped by 10.30%, totaling Rs. 22.58 crore, down from Rs. 25.18 crore in the same period last year. Despite the fall in revenue, reduced financial expenses helped the company turn its losses into profit.
Samling Power has a paid-up capital of Rs. 50 crore and a reserve fund of Rs. 3.92 crore. Its earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 1.76, while the net worth per share is Rs. 107.84.
