The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has adjusted the share price of Reliable Nepal Life Insurance following its book closure for the upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution.
The adjustment comes after the company announced a 12% bonus share for its shareholders. After the adjustment, the new share price is set at NPR 452.67, down from the previous trading day’s closing price of NPR 506.99. NEPSE recalculated the price based on this last traded value.
This adjusted price will be the opening rate when RNLI shares resume trading in the secondary market.
RNLI has scheduled its 8th AGM on Asar 2 at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11:00 AM. During the AGM, the company plans to approve a 12% bonus share and a 0.63% cash dividend for tax purposes. Other key proposals include amending the company’s memorandum and articles of association, authorizing the board for changes, and appointing an auditor.
