PhediKhola Hydropower Company Limited has called its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to approve its upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO). The meeting is scheduled for Shrawan 30 at 2 PM at DDI Banquet Hall, Buddh Nagar, Kathmandu.

The board of directors decided this in a meeting held on Shrawan 7. The AGM will discuss important issues, including increasing the company’s authorized and issued capital, amending its constitutional documents for capital restructuring, and giving final approval to issue shares to the public.

Other key agenda items include reviewing and approving the company’s financial statements for the previous fiscal year such as profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet and appointing auditors for the current year.

This AGM marks a major step in PhediKhola Hydropower’s plan to shift from a privately held company to a publicly owned one, aiming to attract more investors and expand its presence in Nepal’s growing energy sector.
