The 12th International Convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) will take place in February. The event is now officially scheduled from February 23 to 25.
The decision was made during a meeting of the Steering Committee, formed after the recent unification of the organization. General Secretaries Gauriraj Joshi and B.R. Lama confirmed the dates through an official statement.
The Steering Committee has also formed a “Unity Facilitation Committee” for national coordination committees. The committee is led by coordinator Gangadhar Gautam, with Tika Gurung as co-coordinator. Members include Narayan Kafle, Shani Oli, and Chiranjivi Khadka.
The meeting decided to hold regional interactions and dialogues on unity. These will take place on December 19 for the Middle East and Africa, December 20 for Asia-Pacific and Oceania, and December 21 for the Americas and Europe.
Additionally, the five-member Membership Committee will be expanded to seven members by adding two more people.
