Nepal rastra bank has reported a major rise in its financial position this year. The bank’s new annual report shows that its total assets and liabilities have reached Rs 26 kharba 23 crore 95 lakh 40 thousand. This number reflects the financial status at the end of asar 2082. It also shows a growth of 29.23% compared to the previous year.
The central bank said it has already set aside the required amounts for different funds. After this, it decided to provide Rs 42 billion to the government of nepal.
According to the report, the bank’s foreign exchange and other asset revaluation profit, before adjusting gains or losses, has increased by 9.11%. The total amount reached Rs 80 arba 48 crore 26 lakh 50 thousand.
The Nepal Rastra Bank act, 2058, requires the bank to prepare an annual report with details about assets, income, expenses, and other financial information. This report must be submitted to the government within four months after the end of each fiscal year.
