Niranjan Phuyal, who recently resigned from the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited.

The company’s board of directors made the decision during its 151st meeting held on Kartik 19. His appointment takes effect immediately and will last for four years.

Before joining NRN Infrastructure, Phuyal served as a manager at NEPSE. He had submitted his resignation in the second week of Ashoj, which was officially approved a few days ago. Phuyal was one of the senior officials at the stock exchange.

The CEO position at NRN Infrastructure had been vacant since former CEO Hemanta Bashyal stepped down. Basyal now serves as the Chairman of NEPSE’s Board of Directors.
