Gold prices in Nepal have seen a sharp rise this week, driven by global market trends. Since Tuesday, the price of gold has been increasing steadily, with a significant jump recorded today.

Gold Price Hits Rs 1,97,100 Per Tola

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of gold in the local market has climbed by Rs 4,200 per tola compared to Thursday. As of today, gold is being traded at Rs 1,97,100 per tola.

This is a notable increase from Tuesday’s rate of Rs 1,90,000 per tola, reflecting strong demand and rising international prices.

Silver Sees Modest Gain

Silver prices have also moved upward, though to a lesser extent. The price of silver has increased by Rs 15 per tola, bringing today’s rate to Rs 2,165 per tola, up from earlier this week.

Global Market Pushes Prices

International media reports that gold is currently trading at USD 3,427 per ounce in the global market. The ongoing surge in international gold prices is seen as the key driver behind the local market increase.
