Two listed companies are closing their books for dividend distribution and annual general meetings. That means today is the final day for investors to qualify for their announced dividends.
Which companies are closing books?
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank and Universal Power are both finalizing their shareholder lists today. Only investors who hold shares until today’s NEPSE trading will be eligible for the dividends and will be allowed to join the companies’ upcoming annual general meetings.
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank dividend plan
The bank has proposed a 10% bonus share and 5.7895% cash dividend (including tax) from the last fiscal year’s profit.
The annual general meeting will take place on Ashoj 24 at Lisara Reception, Naxal, Kathmandu, starting from 11 AM. Once approved, the dividends will be distributed to shareholders.
Universal Power dividend plan
Universal Power has announced a 9% bonus share and 0.4737% cash dividend.
The company’s annual general meeting is scheduled for Ashoj 23 at Durbar Restro Hotel and Party Venue, Tikhedewal, Lalitpur, from 10 AM.
If you’re holding shares of these companies, today is your cut-off to secure the declared benefits. Missing today’s deadline means you’ll miss both the dividend and voting rights in the meetings.
