Global IME Bank has officially set the date and venue for its 19th annual general meeting (AGM). The bank is planning to distribute cash dividends this year.
When and where is the AGM happening?
According to the board meeting held on Ashoj 29, the AGM will take place on Kartik 26 at Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, starting from 10 AM.
The board of directors made this decision during a meeting held on Ashoj 29. One of the main agendas of the upcoming AGM is to approve an 8% cash dividend, including tax, from the profit of the fiscal year 2081/82.
The meeting will also discuss and approve the annual report presented by the chairman, along with the auditor’s report and financial statements. These documents will include details from Global IME Bank as well as its subsidiaries, Global IME Capital and Global IME Laghubitta.
In addition, there is a special proposal to authorize the board of directors to make necessary amendments to the bank’s rules and regulations if required by regulatory bodies. The AGM will also review the auditor’s report for the current year and appoint a new auditor for the ongoing fiscal year.
For dividend distribution and AGM participation, the bank has set the book closure date for Kartik 16. Shareholders who hold shares listed on NEPSE up to Kartik 15 will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and attend the meeting.
