NEPSE made fresh price adjustments this week after several companies issued bonus shares. When bonus shares are added, the price is recalculated so the market can open fairly on the next trading day. This week, the adjustment covered Agriculture Development Bank, Barun Hydropower, Sarbottam Cement, Ngadi Group Power and Shine Resunga Development Bank.
The Agriculture Development Bank distributed 3.25 percent bonus shares. Its last traded price on Thursday was 328.90 rupees. After adjustment, the new price stands at 318.55. The market will open with this revised price on Sunday.
Barun issued 4.75 percent bonus shares. The company closed at 353.90 on Thursday. The adjusted price is now 337.85, which will be the opening figure for the next session.
Sarbottam’s bonus shares amounted to 5 percent. Its final trading price was 913.90. Once adjusted, the share value sits at 870.38. Sunday’s market will begin with this updated rate.
Ngadi also issued 5 percent bonus shares. The last traded price was 397.60. After the adjustment, the price has been set at 379.57. The next trading day will start from this level.
Shine Resunga bank’s 3 percent bonus shares triggered a new price calculation. It last traded at 424. After adjustment, the price is now 411.65. Trading on Sunday will open from this figure. These adjustments do not reflect gains or losses. They simply balance the market after new bonus shares are added. Real movement will begin once Sunday’s trading starts.
