Barun Hydropower Company has opened its right share issue from Ashadh 31, and investors can apply for its rights shares until Shrawan 19, 2082 (August 3, 2025).

The company is issuing rights shares in a 1:1 ratio, meaning shareholders will receive 1 new share for every 1 share they currently hold. In total, the company is issuing 5,358,150 units of rights shares at a face value of NPR 100 per share, amounting to NPR 535.815 million.

To be eligible for the rights offering, shareholders must have owned shares traded on NEPSE by Jestha 21, 2025 (June 3), as the company closed its book on Jestha 22 (June 4) for the purpose of the rights issue.

RBB Merchant Banking Limited is managing the share issuance. Investors can apply through the sales manager or at the following branches of Rastriya Banijya Bank: Birgunj, Janakpur, Narayangarh, Baglung, Butwal, Nepalgunj, Birendranagar, Dhangadhi, Birtamod, Hetauda, Tulsipur, Mahendranagar, Chainpur, Khandbari, and Dharan.

Applications can also be submitted through banks and financial institutions participating in the C-ASBA system, or online via the ‘Mero Share’ portal, operated by CDS & Clearing Limited.

Currently, the company’s paid-up capital is NPR 535.815 million. After the rights issue and allotment, it will increase to NPR 1.07163 billion.
