The government has blacklisted several construction companies and suppliers. On Friday, the Public Procurement Monitoring Office released a notice saying that based on information from nine different agencies, 14 companies and their top officials have been put on the blacklist.
According to the office, these companies and individuals have been blacklisted for 1 to 2 years because they violated agreements with public bodies, made serious mistakes in construction and supply, failed to complete work as per contracts, or did not respond to government requests.
The agencies that recommended the blacklist include rural municipalities, the Department of Highways, Nepal Airlines Corporation, the Provincial Assembly Secretariat and Archives, Agriculture Materials Company Limited, various local authorities, the Small and Cottage Industries Department, and other government offices.

- Lohit Infra Pvt. Ltd.
- Aion Construction Service Pvt. Ltd.
- Palace Engineering

During the blacklist period, these companies and individuals will not be allowed to take part in any government contracts, services, or supplies.
