The stock regulator has turned its full attention to suspicious price movements of NRN Infrastructure and Development. Early findings suggest the case is serious, and no one involved is expected to escape scrutiny.

SEBON began looking into NRN’s share price after unusual trading patterns appeared in recent weeks. These movements hinted that some people may have acted on inside information before the market knew anything.

SEBON chair Santosh Narayan Shrestha called the supervision department for a detailed briefing. Officials presented early data and evidence, describing them as highly sensitive. After hearing the findings, the chair ordered the team to push the investigation further and leave no name unexamined.

According to senior officials, Shrestha has long been against insider trading, circular trading, and other schemes used to mislead small investors. He believes such practices damage trust in the market and create losses for general shareholders. In this case, he has again made it clear that those behind the manipulation must face strict action.

Investigators have started reviewing past trading records of everyone suspected to be linked with the activity. The team is cross-checking previous data, gathering new evidence, and studying the history of transactions among people close to the main suspects.

Sources claim that evidence now points toward the involvement of NRN’s board chair, Sitaram Thapaliya. SEBON is said to be preparing for strong action after collecting additional proof. The investigation also includes brokers and major market players who may have taken part in the scheme.

Officials say every person connected to the case will be examined. They emphasize that not a single guilty party will be allowed to slip away. The regulator is confident that each actor involved in the manipulation will face consequences.
