The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has lifted the trading suspension on Upper Syange Hydropower Company Limited.
NEPSE had halted the company’s share trading on Bhadra 16 after it failed to comply with Regulation 22(1) of the Securities Listing Regulations, 2075. The rule requires listed companies to inform NEPSE on the same day or before the next trading session if any decision or information likely to affect share prices is made.
The company had decided on its annual general meeting in a board meeting held on Bhadra 11, but NEPSE received the notice only on Bhadra 16.
On Bhadra 17, the company assured NEPSE of following existing regulations and requested the resumption of trading, which NEPSE approved.
