Nepal stock market will remain closed for two days. The government has announced public holidays on Asoj 19 and 20 due to heavy rainfall across the country. Because of this, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) will not operate today and tomorrow.
This closure affects more than just the stock market. All financial institutions, government offices, and educational institutions will also stay closed during this time.
The stock market was supposed to reopen today after the Dashain holidays. However, the severe weather has caused a temporary halt.
If the weather improves, trading is expected to resume on Tuesday, Asoj 21. Investors and traders will have to wait until then to continue their activities.
