The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) saw a slight dip on Tuesday, but some companies made notable gains and losses that caught investors’ attention.
Pure Energy stood out with a sharp 10% increase in its share price, making it one of the top gainers of the day. Butwal Power followed closely, rising by 7.73%. Community Microfinance and Upper Hewa Khola also gained significantly, climbing 7.13% and 5.28% respectively. Bindhyabasini Hydropower added 5.16% to its value.
On the downside, Guardian Microlife Insurance faced a drop of 4.62%, while Narayani Development Bank’s shares fell by 3.94%. Sindhu Development Bank declined 3.77%, and Crest Microlife Insurance lost 3.21%.
Trading activity was highest in five companies: Sanima Mai Hydropower, Butwal Power, Ngadi Group, Radhi Hydropower, and Solti Hotel, reflecting strong investor interest in these firms.
Overall, while the Nepse index decreased slightly, these company-specific movements show areas of growth and caution for investors.
