People’s Power Limited (PPL), a leading hydropower company, has allotted its right shares in a 1:1 ratio to applicants on Bhadra 5, 2082. The company had issued a total of 31,63,000 right shares during its rights offering, which was open from 22nd Ashadh to 26th Shrawan, 2082.

The rights offering was announced after the company declared the book closure date on 2nd Ashadh, 2082. Investors who applied before this date were eligible to receive the allotted shares.

A total of 27,71,221 shares have now been allotted to 91,938 applicants. This means 3,91,779 shares, or 12.38% of the total issued shares, were not claimed by eligible investors. Applicants who did not receive their shares were refunded starting from Bhadra 8, 2082.

This rights offering provided investors with an opportunity to increase their stake in People’s Power Limited while supporting the growth of the company’s hydropower projects.
