Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) will open for trading only one day this week. The market will operate on Sunday, Kartik 02, and then remain closed for several days due to the upcoming Tihar holidays.

According to the schedule, trading will resume from Kartik 9, which falls on October 26. During the festival period, government offices and banks will also be closed. Since banking services are required for settlements, NEPSE will not conduct trading during these holidays.

This short trading window means there will be limited market activity before the break. Many investors may choose to wait until after Tihar to make any new moves in the market.

The single trading day on Sunday will likely see cautious transactions as investors prepare for the long holiday. After that, NEPSE will return to normal trading once offices reopen on Kartik 9.
