The government is planning to make all public service payments fully digital soon. In a joint meeting, the Ministry of Finance, Nepal Rastra Bank, and the Office of the Auditor General agreed to speed up the process through the Revenue Management Information System (RMIS).

This system will allow people to pay for government services like electricity, water, and telecom bills directly online. Officials said the move aims to make the payment process faster, more transparent, and easier for everyone.

If everything goes as planned, most payments will shift to digital platforms within a month. The government hopes this change will reduce the hassle of standing in long queues and make public service delivery more efficient and modern.
