The government has called for applications for the position of Chairperson at the Nepal Insurance Authority. The recommendation committee formed for the appointment issued a seven-day public notice to fill the vacant position through open competition.
Eligible Nepali citizens who meet the criteria can submit a sealed application to the Financial Sector Management and Institution Coordination Division at the Ministry of Finance within seven days during office hours.
According to the committee, applicants must have at least a master’s degree or equivalent in insurance, monetary banking, commerce, management, public administration, statistics, mathematics, economics, or law, and a minimum of five years of senior managerial experience in the related field.
The candidate must have high moral character, be between 30 and 65 years old, and meet the standards set by the Appointment and Nomination Guidelines for officials of public bodies under the Ministry of Finance.
Applicants must submit required documents as per the Chairperson Appointment Procedures 2082, including two passport-size photos, certified copies of documents, and four copies of a professional work plan in separate sealed envelopes, with signatures and clear labeling.
