The government has decided that payments will not stop during the Dashain holiday.
The Office of the Auditor General has instructed all treasury and accounting offices to make arrangements to continue payments.
This includes relief, rescue, and compensation payments, which may still need to be issued during the holiday. If a payment order is received from the concerned office, the treasury offices are directed to process it without delay.
