Gold prices are rising sharply in international markets. Currently, the price of gold has reached $3,864.57 per ounce.
Today alone, gold prices increased by around $21 per ounce, according to international reports. Just three days ago, gold was trading at $3,893 per ounce, while five days ago, it hovered around $3,800 per ounce.
A week ago, gold was priced at $3,734 per ounce. In just seven days, the price has climbed more than 4 percent.
In Nepal, gold was recently selling at just above NPR 223,000 per tola. With the rise in international prices, experts expect gold rates in Nepal could reach up to NPR 230,000 per tola once the market opens after Dashain.
