After two days of decline, gold prices in Nepal rose sharply on Friday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs. 2,700 per tola, reaching Rs. 2,39,000 per tola.
Silver also saw a rise, with prices climbing from Rs. 2,965 to Rs. 3,060 per tola.
The recent rebound follows a brief fall earlier in the week when gold had dropped to Rs. 2,36,300 per tola on Wednesday. Traders say the rise reflects global market movements and renewed investor demand for precious metals.
Analysts believe that while prices may fluctuate in the short term, both gold and silver are likely to continue trending upward in the coming months.
