Gold prices in Nepal have reached another all-time high. On Wednesday, the price of gold climbed to Rs 2,48,900 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.
Just a day earlier, gold was trading at Rs 2,48,500 per tola, already a record at that time. The latest jump of Rs 400 per tola shows that the upward trend is still continuing in the market.
Experts say the surge is mainly driven by rising global prices and strong domestic demand. Many investors are turning to gold as a safe investment option amid economic uncertainty.
Meanwhile, silver prices have slightly declined. Silver is now being traded at Rs 3,240 per tola, compared to Rs 3,325 on Tuesday.
Market analysts believe that if international prices keep rising, gold may continue to set new records in the coming days.
