Gold prices in Nepal rose sharply on Tuesday.

The price of hallmark gold increased by Rs 2,200 per tola in a single day. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold was Rs 2,42,700 per tola on Monday. It went up to Rs 2,47,900 per tola on Tuesday.

Silver prices also increased on the same day. The federation said silver was priced at Rs 3,115 per tola on Monday. It reached Rs 3,200 per tola on Tuesday.
