Bhadrapur Revenue Office has collected Rs 75.27 crore in the first three months of the current fiscal year 2082–083. This amount is 16.90% of the office’s annual revenue target.

The office aims to collect Rs 445 crore in revenue for the full year, according to Chief Tax Officer Gopal Bahadur Thapa. He said, “In the first quarter of this fiscal year, the target was Rs 87.10 crore, but we were able to collect 86.42% of that target.”

During these three months, the office collected Rs 27.26 crore from income tax, Rs 31.09 crore from value-added tax (VAT), and Rs 18.69 crore from excise duty. Last year, in the same period, the office had collected Rs 69.28 crore.

Chief Tax Officer Thapa added that to meet the revenue target, the office will continue monitoring the market and guiding taxpayers without putting too much pressure on them. The office will also provide practical tax education focused on taxpayers’ benefits.
