Gold prices fell again on Wednesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold dropped by Rs. 700 per tola. This brings the trading price for the day to Rs. 2,36,300 per tola.
On Tuesday, gold was priced at Rs. 2,37,000 per tola in the Nepali market.
Silver prices increase slightly. Silver, which was Rs. 2,920 per tola on Tuesday, went up to Rs. 2,965 on Tuesday.
The drop in local gold prices follows a decline in international gold rates, which is affecting the Nepali market.
Experts say that although gold and silver prices have dropped in the short term, they are expected to rise in the long run.
