Gold prices in Nepal have reached a new record, crossing Rs 2.5 lakh per tola. On Friday, gold jumped by Rs 7,100 per tola, and today it has reached Rs 2,58,000 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, this is the highest price ever recorded in the local market. The day before, gold was Rs 2,50,900 per tola, and the recent sharp rise shows strong demand.
Silver prices also increased, moving from Rs 3,275 to Rs 3,350 per tola.
The rising prices of gold and silver reflect growing interest in precious metals as safe investments. Many investors are watching closely to see how high prices might go.
