Nepal Rastra Bank has released the foreign exchange rates for today, Saturday. The central bank says the buying rate for one US dollar is 142.88 rupees and the selling rate is 143.48 rupees.

The bank has also updated the rates for other major currencies. One Australian dollar now buys at 91.99 rupees and sells at 92.38 rupees. One Canadian dollar buys at 101.40 rupees and sells at 101.82 rupees.

In the same way, one euro has a buying rate of 164.61 rupees and a selling rate of 165.30 rupees. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is 186.61 rupees, and the selling rate is 187.39 rupees.

Nepal Rastra Bank has said that these rates can be changed anytime if needed. It has also mentioned that commercial banks may publish slightly different rates. The latest official rates can always be found on the central bank’s website.
