Laxmi Sunrise Bank has announced a new dividend for the financial year 2081/82. The decision was made during a board meeting held on Kartik 30.
The bank has proposed a total dividend of 10.53% for its shareholders. This includes 10% bonus shares and 0.53% cash dividend, which will be used for tax purposes.
The dividend will only be distributed after it receives approval from Nepal Rastra Bank. It must also be passed by the upcoming annual general meeting before the bank can start distributing it.
By the end of the last financial year, the Laxmi sunrise bank earned a net profit of Rs 4.11 billion. In the first quarter of the current financial year, the bank’s net profit reached Rs 332.3 million.
The bank’s steady profit and proposed dividend have drawn attention from shareholders who are now waiting for the final approval.
