Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 139.79, while the selling rate is Rs 140.39.
The euro is fixed at Rs 163.39 for buying and Rs 164.09 for selling. The British pound sterling stands at Rs 189.57 for buying and Rs 190.38 for selling, while the Swiss franc is Rs 173.47 for buying and Rs 174.21 for selling.
The Australian dollar is set at Rs 91.05 for buying and Rs 91.44 for selling. The Canadian dollar is Rs 101.37 for buying and Rs 101.80 for selling. The Singapore dollar is Rs 109.01 for buying and Rs 109.48 for selling.
Ten Japanese yen is valued at Rs 9.51 for buying and Rs 9.55 for selling. The Chinese yuan is Rs 19.47 for buying and Rs 19.56 for selling. The Saudi riyal stands at Rs 37.26 for buying and Rs 37.42 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is Rs 38.35 for buying and Rs 38.52 for selling.
The Thai baht is fixed at Rs 4.31 for buying and Rs 4.33 for selling. The UAE dirham is Rs 38.06 for buying and Rs 38.22 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is Rs 33.18 for buying and Rs 33.32 for selling. The South Korean won (100) is Rs 10.07 for buying and Rs 10.11 for selling. The Swedish krona is Rs 14.62 for buying and Rs 14.69 for selling, while the Danish krone is Rs 21.89 for buying and Rs 21.99 for selling.
The Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 17.88 for buying and Rs 17.95 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 457.59 for buying and Rs 459.56 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 370.77 for buying and Rs 372.36 for selling, while the Omani riyal is Rs 363.09 for buying and Rs 364.64 for selling.
The Indian rupee is fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling per 100 rupees. The central bank noted that these rates may be revised at any time if necessary. Commercial banks may set slightly different exchange rates, and the updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s website.
