Nepal stock market index, Nepse index, went up by 9.78 points on Monday. With this increase, Nepse now stands at 2,550 points. Out of all listed companies, 167 saw their share prices rise, 76 fell, and 13 remained unchanged.
Trading volume also saw a slight increase. Yesterday, the total turnover was NPR 3.89 billion, while today it reached NPR 3.94 billion. Development banks and the hotel & tourism sector rose by more than 1%. On the other hand, non-life insurance dropped by 0.09 percent, and other sectors fell by 0.49%.

- Finance: +0.56%
- Hotel & tourism: +1.08%
- Hydropower: +0.88%
- Investment: +0.53%
- Life insurance: +0.64%
- Manufacturing & processing: +0.53%
- Microfinance: +0.34%
- Trading: +0.09%
Four companies saw their share prices jump by 10%. These include newly listed Bandipur Cable Car, Sagar Distillery, Bunglal Hydropower, and Jhapa Energy.
Other notable gainers were:
- Green Development Bank: +8.89%
- Joshi Hydropower: +7.84%
- Mabilung Energy: +7.37%
- Corporate Development Bank: +7.24%
On the losing side, Geograph Energy saw the largest drop of 10%. Nepal Micro Insurance fell by 3.21%, and Swabhiman Laghubitta dropped 2.40%.
The most actively traded companies today were Sahas Urja, NRN Infrastructure, Shivam Cement, Radhi Hydropower, and Union Hydropower.
