Bikash Hydropower IPO result- Bikash Hydropower Limited has officially published the result of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) today, which was open for public subscription from Ashad 18 to Ashad 22. A total of 294,276 lucky applicants have received 10 shares each through a lottery system.

Ball number 6 was drawn as the lucky number

During the allotment process, ball number 6 was drawn, determining the lucky ones among the oversubscribed applicants. Those matching the criteria based on this number were allotted shares.

IPO overview and total issue

The company had received approval to issue 44,54,596 shares, representing 49% of its total issued capital of NPR 90.91 crore. This offering amounted to a total of NPR 44.54 crore.

Earlier allotments to specific groups

Before the public issue, the company had already distributed:

  • 9,09,101 shares to locals of the project-affected areas and Nepali citizens working abroad (from Ashad 5)
  • 70,910 shares reserved for employees of the company
  • 1,77,275 shares allocated to mutual fund schemes

Public shares and high demand

The remaining 29,42,760 shares were made available to the general public. Due to high demand and oversubscription, the shares were allotted through a lottery draw system.
