Gurans Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited has declared a total dividend of 15% for its shareholders for the last fiscal year. The announcement came after the board meeting held on Ashoj 8.

How Will the Dividend Be Paid?

The company said that shareholders will receive 14.25% as bonus shares and 0.75% as cash dividend for tax purposes. The dividend is based on the retained earnings up to the fiscal year 2081/82 and the current paid-up capital of NPR 11,58,49,500.

The board also stated that the dividend proposal will be submitted to the Nepal Rastra Bank for approval. After the central bank gives its decision, the proposal will be presented at the upcoming Annual General Meeting for final approval by the shareholders.

This announcement shows the company’s ongoing performance and its effort to reward shareholders through both bonus shares and cash returns.
